Listen. I hear OCs, I come running. Got a couple options here, all three within the same shared universe:

Name: Emily Madsen

Species: human. ish.

Setting Modern-day Earth with supernatural things going on both in the background and the foreground - those that are publicly known for having powers are considered "Empowered", though most don't even know the actual origins of their powers.

Background/History I'm in the middle of streamlining the history but long story extremely short: forced into a leadership position in a rebellion as a teenager, ended up getting involved in a contract with a phoenix that had been sealed away, technically died, and said phoenix decided to infuse her with his life force, bringing her back to life but also slowly starting to transform her into a phoenix herself. She now works for her dead partner's younger brother as the leader of what's basically a supernatural spec ops squad.

CR Wishes I'm honestly game for just about anything! Positive CR to help her unwind, romantic interests, sparring partners, etc. People she can snark and snipe with are always welcome as well, Madsen's got a sharp tongue on her sometimes. I'm also more than fine with some negative CR as well, of course.

Background/History So that phoenix partner I mentioned in Madsen's entry? That's this one. He acts like a himbo, honestly - loves to joke around and really doesn't take much seriously ... at least on the surface. The reason he got sealed away in the first place? Was because he had gone and done an unauthorized raid on a rogue mage school that had tried to kidnap some of his nestmates to use them for their experiments. Nithal's got a bit of a protective streak, as you can probably imagine. Depending on which one I feel more up for, the other will likely not be here just to make things easier for not only myself but everyone else. :'| Anyway, he's a doofus, but he means well, for the most part. And he can be surprisingly observant and wise when he wants to. But he just generally doesn't want to. Not as fun.

CR Wishes I'm pretty much game for anything! Nithal's fun to play and bounce off of multiple people, and it'd be hilarious to see others try and see past his goofball exterior. If you need an annoying big brother figure, he's your dude!

Setting Same as the other two! Nic actually works for the same organization that Madsen does (and Nithal used to) - he has his own handler, but sometimes comes around to help Madsen and her crew out when they need some extra firepower.

Background/History Powers sealed and memories wiped as a child, Nic was adopted by mage parents who helped him become the man he is today - it's only been about a year or so since he found out about his true heritage through a couple freak incidents as well as his real father coming back into his life. He's been dealing with that alongside juggling his job and social life, which isn't exactly an easy feat considering that he's essentially a magical assassin with specializations in being able to crack barriers, imbue objects with power, and now also singing in order to infuse objects with power. It's a lot, but he tries his best.

Honestly, minus the magic assassin thing, he's a pretty good kid, all things considered.

CR Wishes Anything and everything! People who can ping his half-celestial self, friends to help him navigate it all (he and Madsen apparently have a penchant for getting demons to pester them to their dismay), enemies to help push him further, etc etc.

Nithal would remind her so much of Theo except- well. Nithal actually has a brain. Theo does not. Basically please let her drag him as they get to know each other. It's how she shows she cares.

I would love to have more solid stuff with Rune and Nic if you're down for that! Also, please tell him more about being a magic assassin because that sounds like a very lucrative business if you know what I mean

she's had a bit of an overhaul since then! plus growing up. :'D but her core concept is still the same, just some tweaks to the backstory to make it more my own thing since I wanted to keep going on her personal story outside the original forum series that she was from. and shifting her and Nithal's dynamic so it fit more with the backstory I eventually settled on for the bird, so instead of a grump, he's a himbo. they balance each other out.

It should definitely be fun to see how you've fleshed her out since! Really I think the only thing I distinctly remember was that she had lost an eye helping Eden rescue Steinman from Rapture. SO I'm all but a fresh audience.
