Gosh, I love the sound of this character -- she seems super fun and like she might invite a bunch of different CR right off the bat by virtue of being a superweapon with, like, actual principles. They would've made quite a duo (I mean -- Sincerity and Passion, lmao) if Sincerity were still in her bard idol prime. Now, she'll definitely play the part of poor, helpless grandmother around Passion in an attempt to get on her good side. I'm wondering -- how good a judge of other people is Passion? Has she ever been "tricked" into working for someone with bad or purely selfish intentions?

Setting
This is a fantasy world where magic has taken a turn with the rise in mixed technological advancements. Many forms of magic are used and accepted, but they are treated as a "science." There are humans, people with animal features called Anima, and other supernatural beings. Less scientific forms of magic or special abilities are seen as either backwater or outright abominations and people with inherent magical abilities tend to downplay them or hide their use. If it isn't a magic that can be studied, categorized, and broken down to base components, then people generally think it's either a fraud or don't want anything to do with it...unless it proves beneficial to them of course.

Background/History
Ulari comes from a middle class business family and was born with the Sight. An ability to use touch to see visions of both the past and the future. As a child he used this to try and help his family's business, but under the guise of having "business acumen" and a "strong intuition" because having an ability like the Sight is looked down on or even treated as being a freak. And when his visions started turning dark in nature, he tried to intervene to prevent the negative outcomes from happening, only to make things worse. People stopped believing him and at times even blamed him for the negative events coming to pass. For years he was trying to save people's lives, prevent economic downturns, and once he was a suspect in a murder for a year until the real killer was apprehended. That situation really sent his reputation into a downfall and he was at the end of his rope. If he couldn't stop all of these bad things from happening, why did he keep having to see them?

His best friend stepped in and helped him work through the trauma...by convincing him to not give a fuck anymore. To focus instead of living a happy life himself and leave other people to their fates, no matter what they may be. It's not his job to save the world (even if some part of him really does think maybe he has this ability because he's supposed to save the world). He did what he could and people turned on him for it so fuck them. He instead stopped listening to his conscience and started listening to his wallet. He became a remote financial advisor to some very wealthy (and many very corrupt) individuals who would send him sentimental objects and items from their lives that he could use to see into their futures and give advice on what things they could do to increase their wealth and success. Sure, this means he has a lot of dirt on a lot of very influential people, but they don't know who he is because he keeps his real name and location a secret and instead had random couriers around the country who nondescript packages from different drop boxes and then have them sent to him. Recently though a lot of the futures he's been seeing all have a similar thread. An apocalypse is coming.

Being told that the Devourer is coming will just feel like a confirmation of the Bad End he's been sensing in his own world and so he could definitely have his conscience pinged to push him into finally trying to save the world again.

CR Wishes
ANYTHING. Ulari is chill and does not give a fuck. Mostly. Like he cares about people and wants good things for them, but also he's tired and has been burned a lot by people turning on him for trying to intervene where he wasn't wanted. So he will go with the flow and try not to set his expectations too high. I'd love some people he can rile up by being blunt and casual or people he can chill with or people he can flirt with because he will definitely flirt. Hot people be hot.

Evangeline Minet

Setting
In a world where the Supernatural flourishes and normal humans live alongside them as best they can, coexisting and trying to survive when caught in the crossfire of the fights and wars of daemons, vampires, angels, werebeasts, and the like, some humans have taken to using magic of various sorts to compete. Humans like the Minet Family have a long history of magic and influence, but as generations have gone on the types of magic they have used have turned darker and darker and more corrupting. Now they are one of the most prominent Black Mage families in the country.

The Minet are wealthy, powerful, and few would ever even attempt to remove them from their status and position because of how integral they are to the balance between humans and the other factions of supernatural beings. They have connections and alliances and know who to go to for favors or calling in the favors others owe them. They have made themselves invaluable and have gained a lot of leeway because of that. The power they have gained and their relevancy in the social and political structures are undeniable, but at the expense of the corruption of their bodies and souls—to the point that some of the family is incapable of dying, their bodies so altered by their mage-craft. They still look human, but there's also an Otherworldly quality to them.

Background/History
Josephine and Gerard Minet want what many loving couples want, a perfect, precious, adoring family of their own. So after years of trying to have the Perfect Child that would be everything they wanted, they decided they would just have to use magic to make one. They sacrificed the souls of 12 humans and 1 daemon to create their perfect baby, Evangeline. She was raised like a fantasy southern belle socialite, believing she is one of the most perfect beings to exist and that everyone should love her. And if they don't love her, obviously she just needs to be more aggressively perfect in the politest way possible until they do.

Unfortunately there were some effects by the way in which she was created. Evangeline still needed to eat the souls of daemons to survive and eating those daemons would cause her to gain not only their abilities temporarily but their memories. And as she grew older and needed to consume more souls, the powers lasted longer and so did the memories, to the point that by the age of 16 she had to greatly limit the power of the daemons she was feeding on or else she could go hours or days trapped believe their memories were her own. She's still been struggling with not having enough control for the powers she's been gaining and the identity crises they've been causing, but she still puts on the happy smile and perfect face because she can't bear the idea of people thinking she's not perfect.

CR Wishes
People to ruffle her perfectly ironed petticoats! She gets flustered and offended so easily but will pretend she is So Very Not Offended Merely Concerned By Your Lack of Propriety. Just tease her, make fun of her, and force her to accept she's not the center of the universe. Also female friends she could get along with since she doesn't really have close friends. Everyone is her friend because she says so but they don't come spend time with her on a regular basis or anything like that.

Viri Agate

Setting
Viri is a canon OC from RWBY. That means she comes from the post-apocalyptic world trying to stop the second apocalypse! The Brother Gods pulled a Sodom and Gomorrah on the world and left "Remnant" behind. On Remnant there are humans, faunus (people with animal traits), and Grimm. Everyone has aura, which is like a manifestation of your soul and if you can train yourself to project your aura you can create armor to protect yourself or even activate your Semblance, a special ability that is unique to you as a person. People train to become Huntsman and Huntresses who go out and protect the civilian people of Remnant from the Grimm, who are nightmare fuel monsters out there feeding on negative emotions and trying to destroy all of humanity. There are Four Huntsman Academies, one in each of the major kingdoms and each kingdom is unique and often fucked up in its own special ways.

Background/History
Viri grew up in Vacuo, went to school in Atlas, and was part of Team SABL (Sable). She went to school around the same general time as team STRQ went to Beacon and her team dies 10 years before the start of the show. She's a gecko faunus, with her faunus trait being her large gecko eyes and is a bit of a feral child for most of her life, but she calmed down a bit as she got older. Loud, at times abrasive, comes across like she wears her heart on her sleeve but actually keeps a lot of her more intimate feelings on lock down. At the same time when she makes a decision to do something she completely throws herself into it headfirst and doesn't back down from it.

Her parents encouraged her to see more of the world than just Vacuan desert so she decided to go to school in Atlas. She got paired with three other people to make Team SABL and they did not really get along at first because Viri is a cynic who assumes that people are automatically looking down on her (more for being from Vacuo than for being a faunus, but Atlas is also a lot more racist than she's used to) and aggressively overcompensates by being in your face and acting like she doesn't care about anyone else's opinion. Eventually she and her team would bond though after a major mission that almost got herself and one of her other teammates killed and left her with a scar on her face that required some reconstructive surgery. They stayed together after graduation, a well working team who made it into their late 20s before dying on a mission to clear out an area that was being heavily swarmed by Grimm.

CR Wishes
Other grumpy people determined to save the world she can commiserate with. She isn't going to be afraid of making friends, but she's not gonna expect just how deep the bonds are gonna get. She's not used to having people who are that close to her outside of her team. She's someone who is very much a House of Stone type so interHouse and intraHouse CR with people she could bounce off well would be fun too.

Lyndell Kahl

Setting
50 years ago the Earth was invaded by the Mozak Horde an army of monsters and beasts of all kind created by Magna Parr, a scientist whose goal is to recreate the universe his way. The Earth was devastated as the Mozak ran amok and humans were allowed to live in designated cities, working to serve the Horde's objective of mining all the resources of the planet, or attempt to survive in the Deadlands, the mostly decimated areas the Mozak didn't care to pay much attention to.

The Galturian Alliance is a coalition of planety governments allying to try and fight back against the Mozaks. Earth being close to a jump hub lagrange point for fighting against the Galturian Alliance is part of why Magna Parr decided to take it over. The Galturian Alliance also has the Magi. Magi are people with magical aptitude who are capable of using specialized skills and spells to fight back against the Mozak. They need more Magi than they have so they send out extraction teams to find people with magical aptitude and bring them back to be trained as Magi because your magic aura is connected to your world and thus a Magi from Earth is stronger on Earth than a Magi from somewhere else. This is where Lyndell comes in.

Background/History
Lyndell's father is a doctor who helps care for people out in the Deadlands, particular in a small ramshack village near one of the mining bases. Lyndell and his younger sister Melanie were raised in this lifestyle and Lyndell has been helping his father as a medical assistant. He ends up saving the life of a Magi and revealed his own magical aptitude by using their weapons against the Mozak. He agrees to travel to Vavallan, the headquarters of the Galturian Alliance to train to become a Magi, but only if his family is also protected. Years later, he completes his training, gets his own team, and is sent back to Earth to find more people with magical aptitude and perform missions in nearby galaxies to try and defeat the Mozak Horde. As an Offensive Sensory Magi, he is capable of using his magic to send out signals that will ping off the auras of other people with high magical aptitude so he can find them. Like aura radar.

He ends up running into an Elite from the Mozak Horde, Mozaks who are sentient, intelligent, and capable of critical and strategic thinking just like anyone else on another planet during a mission when they are both stranded. They survive together for over a month before they can both be rescued and the Mozak keeps Lyndell's presence hidden so that he isn't captured. When Lyndell gets back to Earth, that Mozak ends up there two and they end up with this secret growing friendship. They respect each other and it makes them question some of the things their sides have been telling them. The Mozak saves Lyndell and a group of humans during a major attack by the Horde and Lyndell's magic changes from offensive to a healing purification that affects some Mozak nearby but they are shortly killed and Lyndell's friend gets captured by the Alliance. Lyndell decides to find out the truth about what is going on and free his friend before he's destroyed himself.

CR Wishes
Lyndell is the quiet but reckless and determined type. He doesn't talk a lot and lets his actions speak for him, but this also means that he makes a lot of impulsive decisions because he follows his "gut." I'd love for people who could temper him in this. He might come across as calm, but no he's got a temper and is just as likely to throw the first punch if someone pisses him off. So I'd love someone who will complement him in that way but also people he can push. He's not the shy or loner type, just quiet, so if there are shyer types around he's someone who could definitely just drag them into things. If you're gonna save the universe, you better commit, in his opinion.

TL;DR : Magical boy from a post-apocalyptic world who cares too much and can make dumb choices in the name of friendship.

Seyn Ayliffe

Setting
Seyn comes from a future where space has been colonized, bio-tech is the norm, and people who have "malfunctioning" nanites gain special abilities or adaptations that the government seeks to keep in check by early age brainwashing and propaganda. They call them Enhanced Needs and insist these people need to be monitored and given "special treatment" so they can have functioning lives in society. This means children are taken from their families and sent to Academies where they are trained in their abilities and indoctrinated into seeing themselves as Useful only as much as those in power put value on their skills and abilities. There is also a resistance call the Scarlet Alphabet that is trying to overthrow the dystopian governments on earth with the help of people from the Lunar Union.

Background/History
Seyn is an ex-Knight, a futuristic gladiator who performs for the masses and gains fad celebrity status as they work their way up the standings boards of the Battle Royale and other battle reality TV shows. She grew up on a Nature Reserve and her ability as a shapeshifter kick-started one time when she fell and was trapped and injured out in the woods. Shapeshifters have the ability to imprint DNA/genetic information from animals and then shift their bodies into identical copies of whatever animal they imprinted on. Seyn imprinted on one of the wolves on the Preserve and her father didn't notice for some time until she full on shifted into her wolf form. Then he sent her to one of the Academies, thinking it would help her control it and she was trained and brainwashed into thinking being a Knight would be the only thing that helped her see him again.

She got fucked up very badly in a match early in her career but managed to come back from it and became determined to get as high in the standings as she could for her own sake and fuck everyone else. Just as she was finally into the Top 10, she got transferred to a new owner Sponsor and her transportation was highjacked by the Scarlet Alphabet. They helped her work through deprogramming from the cult-like brainwashing of the Royales and she decided to become one of them to help bring down the government.

Seyn is a generally chill person, or at least likes to put that kind of facade off to those she doesn't know. She is polite and "country laid back" as that was her persona in the Battle Royale and she defaults to it without meaning to. In actuality, she's got a lot of resentment and bitterness over the way the world works and a temper that takes a while to go off but can burn for a long time. She also has a habit of becoming territorial about people she gets close to when she is in wolf form, not liking to share their attention with others and being overbearingly protective.

CR Wishes
I'd love people who would make her drop the facade and be more honest in her blunt snappy kind of way. I'd also love people who would challenge her or feed into her growing disposition as a revolutionary. Coming to a place where the "governments" actually want to help people instead of exploit them is going to be a shock and I want to have a lot of fun with it.

Setting Modern dystopian where a war between humans and non-humans has taken place. Hojoon has sided with the humans and is larely regarded as a traitor for it.

Background/History
Previously protected and served a human family for generations along with his twin brother. The family ends up slaughtered by other magicals, leaving the shamed brothers to wander and scavange. They eventually find a safe place in a house full of other outcasts, but still dealing with his guilt, Hojoon leaves his brother there and sneaks away.

CR Wishes
humans, people who might need someone to look out for them, older folks - don't believe the baby face, hojoon acts like and thinks like and -is- an old man.

Nikola comes from a modern-day world that is plagued by "Dusk Zones," territories that are parallel to the modern-day world and house demonic and eldritch-like monsters. In other words, Shit's Cursed. Dusk Zones can be found in abandoned buildings and locations with a dark history.

Background/History
When Nikola was a child, her older brother disappeared into a Dusk Zone and she had blacked out and then woke up in the normal world and gained an unusual eye power (Basilisk Eyes). Ever since that fated day, she's made it her life mission to search for her big brother and willingly plunges into the Dusk Zones to find any leads that will lead her to him.

Currently, Nikola's an urban explorer, finding and exploring abandoned places while filming her experiences. She's banking on some minuscule, but persistent hope that she can bring her brother back home; that is if the monsters or other supernaturally gifted humans don't get her first.

CR Wishes
Despite her fearlessness towards external dangers, Nikola is rather reserved and introverted in quieter moments. Ideal CR for her is are warmer and optimistic personalities to help bring her out of her shell. Someone who is silly and outspoken might be funny because she'll just be flabbergasted and can make a great straight man to a more comedic person.

Still deciding if this is the OC I'll go with for this game (if I join at all, I'm still deciding)! I have a few others that I've played over the years, but she's someone I definitely wanna try even though it'll take some more fleshing out.

Setting Vel is from a fantasy universe that started out pretty vanilla. It was your typical anime fantasy land until heroes from another world got isekai'd into her's, and caused a planet-wide cataclysm as an aftermath of their battle with a dark god. Now the whole planet are a bunch of floating islands over an endless sea of clouds, with resources scarce and these new "heroes" are being worshipped as the new gods, effectively taking over the whole world. Vel is a talented local in an isekai show, only in her story she's the protagonist and the isekai'd heroes are the villains.

Background/History Vel is a talented mage, born and raised in a city of wizards and scholars. She grew up as one expects in a place like that, eventually becoming an adventurer once she became older and able to defend herself. Though eventually she took a break from that and became employed under nobles of her home kingdom as an advisor. Life among wealthy nobles was nice for a bit, and being seeing enough of their boring lives and corrupt ambition made her yearn for adventure again. Guilt of being associated with them and helping enable some of their awful actions had Vel thinking of hiding from them too, eventually hearing about a mysterious forest that she decided to make her home. The forest hid a deep secret that Vel had unearthed, a cave network underneath the forest possessed an ancient ruin that was neither magical or mundane for it was a technologically advanced installation left behind by people the ancients have regarded as visitors from the stars.

CR Wishes Honestly, she's a new character (based on a very old concept) so I just want to do things with her. I'm open to a lot of CR types so I can get a good feel of her voice.
