Setting Auditi's a troll kid from Homestuck's planet Alternia - a member of a species of violently combative warmongering aliens who leave their children unsupervised on their home planet while the entire adult population is by imperial mandate out conquering the galaxy for the glory of their empress, Her Imperious Condescension. Alternia itself is a rough place to try to live; basically every animal and most of the plants are hostile and dangerous, the climate is frequently deadly, the empire's semi-automated systems monitor the population to cull the weak, and young trolls are frequently only too eager to pick fights and to reinforce the social hierarchy on their lower-caste peers. And that's on top of the normal stresses of being a kid and growing up.
Background/History As an indigoblood, Auditi is in a pretty good position, as far as such a thing exists on Alternia - she's a member of a very high caste, which on one hand gives her greater social freedoms and access to more resources and better education, and on the other hand is associated with greater physical strength and stamina and less susceptibility to psychic manipulation than most trolls have. Auditi also, personally, has an extremely high pain tolerance, even for a troll of her color.
She chooses to use this very good position to cultivate an extremely finely tuned sense of her own physical limits and a frankly upsetting fascination with cosmetic body modifications. It's an artform. She is very intent that you understand that it is an artform and if you are freaked out by it that's because you're hopelessly uncultured. Auditi can be dismissive of lower-status kids and is inclined to meet sufficiently harsh criticism with violence, but by the standards of highblooded trolls she's pretty easy-going.
She hopes, as an adult, to serve the empire as a maker of prosthetic limbs - and may be planning on undergoing one or more elective limb replacements herself at some point in the future. (Not until she's fully grown, though. Young trolls are comparably sized to human kids, but highbloods grow much larger than humans and Auditi's got enough sense to wait until she's not going to have to repeatedly refit herself for correctly sized prostheses.) In the meantime, she's collecting a bunch of piercings and a few tattoos, and she's trying to find someone who can do horn carving to her specifications.
She's also a minor hanger-on to the Cult of the Mirthful Messiahs, the circus-themed death cult that backs the empire's elite Subjugglator enforcers. She's not a clown herself - participating in the full rites of the cult is a Very Bad Idea if you're not a purpleblood, and Auditi's a step below that - but she's friendly with clowns and would describe herself as a sideshow act.
CR Wishes Positive or negative CR would be great - trolls don't draw much of a distinction between friend/frenemy/enemy, and unless you're directly threatening her in a way that she has to take seriously, Auditi is likely to consider all attention good attention. Befriend her or antagonize her, it's all good, although she'll probably interpret some kinds of antagonism as flirting. She'll also probably interpret any attempt to get her to be less of a disaster as a different kind of flirting. Troll romance is complicated and she is currently single in all four romantic quadrants.
Also: other trolls. I would absolutely love to see other fantrolls. Auditi would be deeply relieved to not be the only member of her species around here.
